DCS Corp was founded in 1977 with one small contract providing critical electro-optical engineering expertise for the U.S. Navy A-6E TRAM and programmatic support to the NAVAIR Program Manager. In the early years, our focus was to build a company that was different from other companies operating in our industry. We accomplished this by building respectful relationships and an easy rapport with our employees and customers, while consistently applying leading-edge engineering expertise and scientific competence to our customer’s military and defense programs.
As our company grew, so did our ability to apply our engineering expertise to programs from other Department of Defense and national security agencies. With NAVAIR as a primary customer we developed a reputation for excellence in avionics integration, weapons development, and systems flight test of Navy and Marine Corps rotary and fixed-wing aircraft. We expanded our offerings through groundbreaking work in sensors, soldier systems, and combat vehicle Vetronics programs for the U.S. Army. Our team of engineers and scientists made significant advances to the sophistication of night vision technologies that are now an indispensible tool for the warfighter. From these early Navy and Army contracts, DCS has expanded our customer based to include Air Force, Missile Defense, Coast Guard, and Joint Programs nationwide.
Throughout our history, DCS Corp has provided solutions to our customers through innovative approaches to technology and problem solving. The breadth of our solution set continues to expand beyond on-site support and analytical services to encompass rapid prototyping, technical infrastructure development, real time simulation, and hardware testing , serving customers across all technology disciplines.
