Cybersecurity Capabilities and Past Performance
The DCS Cybersecurity team provides the highest quality Computer Network Defense, Attack and Exploitation (CND, CNA, CNE) services to US Government and Commercial customers. We apply the full range of certified support to the most challenging solutions; from Security+ technicians and Certified Ethical Hackers (CEH) to Certified Information System Security Professionals (CISSP).
DCS is committed to providing superior Cybersecurity professionals to meet these computer security needs. We continually invest in certificate and graduate classes and continuing education to enhance our customers’ solutions and our employees’ careers. We attend the DHS SWA Forum and serve in NDIA, ISC2 and other society chapters. We mentor several Cyber Patriot high school teams. From our Alexandria, VA headquarters, we provide financial sponsorship to the George Mason University Center for Secure Information Systems (CSIS) in Fairfax, VA.
Our many Security+ certified personnel are focused on their customer’s systems; correcting security flaws, monitoring testing and troubleshooting to implement controls within their operational systems. Our CEH cadre develops specialty software tools and techniques for relating and analyzing intelligence data. Our Certified Information System Security Professionals (CISSP) manage Information Assurance (IA) teams across our customer set; analyzing incidents to identify system enclave and network performance patterns, documenting IA vulnerabilities for accrediting authorities and providing support for policy development.
We provide IA and ISP support and Cross Domain Solution analyses to TARDEC ground vehicle and combat support PMs through the TARDEC Software Engineering Center and Vehicle Electronics Architecture organizations. We support secure operation of the Mine Resistant Ambush Protected (MRAP) vehicle digital backbone SDU software.
We performed Department of Defense Information Assurance Certification and Accreditation (DIACAP) compliance audits on virtual servers for the Apache Program Manager in Huntsville, AL.
DCS provides software Certification and Accreditation (C&A) services for Aegis-equipped and other ship classes at NSWC Dahlgren W50, where highly skilled DCS engineers “wrote the book” on DDG-1000 software certification. Our engineers ensured Clinger-Cohen compliance and interoperability in the Tactical Aircraft Moving Map Capability (TAMMAC) program. DCS provides noteworthy support to the NAVAIR Echelon II IA Validation team on the Military Flight Operations Quality Assurance (MFOQA) program, DITSCAP documentation for PMA281’s Weaponeering and Stores Planning (WASP) Common Component, DIACAP certification and validation efforts on the computing network at NAWCWD China Lake Advanced Weapons Lab.
DCS computer security personnel secure unique RDT&E collaborative information systems for Air Force Research Lab (AFRL) Air Vehicle Directorate, Wright Patterson AFB, OH.
DCS provides IA and global CND services to the USMC Theater Medical Information Program (TMIP), including System Security Authorization Agreement (SSAA) and DIACAP compliance. DCS developed accreditation documentation to achieve TMIP Block 2 release.
