Mike Smith is the Executive Vice President and Sector Manager of the Army and Marine Corps sector. Since joining the company in 1994, Mike has been a driving force behind sustained sector growth, expanding capabilities beyond legacy Systems Engineering and Technical Assistance support to encompass field service, rapid prototyping, and advanced manufacturing.

Before stepping into executive leadership, Mike spent nearly three decades supporting the United States Army Combat Capabilities Development Command (DEVCOM) Ground Vehicle Systems Center (GVSC) at the Detroit Arsenal. His work contributed directly to the evolution of Army research, development, and production programs, informed by deep technical expertise in systems engineering, C5ISR integration, developmental and operational test, and field service support. 

As a Division Manager, Mike led major facility growth at DCS’s Massachusetts location, adding machining, welding, and light manufacturing capabilities for prototype vehicle assemblies, cable and harness production, and laboratory environments supporting material science, embedded systems design, E‑textile fabrication, and secure computing. 

He holds a B.S. in Electrical Engineering from Central New England College and an MBA from Nichols College.
