As Vice President of Business Development, Tanya Bassett leads strategic growth initiatives, driving market expansion and advancing the company’s competitive position across emerging and established domains. She oversees enterprise business development strategy, identifies and cultivates new market opportunities, and strengthens customer and partner engagement to support long‑term organizational growth. She brings extensive experience across the full business development lifecycle, joining DCS from Precise Systems and previously SAIC, where she held key roles in business development, capture, and account management. Tanya has supported large‑scale, strategic opportunities throughout their lifecycle, earning a reputation for rigorous planning, strategic insight, and operational excellence. Earlier in her career, Tanya served the Naval Air Systems Command (NAVAIR) as Head of Business Operations for the Test and Evaluation Department at the Naval Air Warfare Center Aircraft Division (NAWCAD) in Patuxent River, Maryland. This blend of operational leadership and business development acumen gives Tanya a holistic perspective on customer needs, mission priorities, and enterprise‑level solution development. 

Tanya holds a B.S. in Information Systems Management from the University of Maryland University College and an M.S. in Management with a specialization in Information Systems from the Florida Institute of Technology.
