Accruing over two decades of experience in human resources, Ms. Hamn is now the Director of Talent Acquisition for DCS Corporation in Alexandria, Virginia. Acquiring the position in 2017, she has also been serving as the organization’s Recruiting Manager, Senior Technical Recruiter and Technical Recruiter since 2013. As part of her responsibilities, Ms. Hamn oversees the Talent Acquisition Department, while also executing the company’s strategy for talent acquisition. She mitigates and resolves various internal issues, collaborates directly with senior leaders on staffing needs, develops innovative recruitment strategies, trains and develops coaches, and evaluates team members. Prior to her employment with DCS, Ms. Hamn was notably a Senior Corporate Recruiter for Halfaker and Associates LLC in Arlington, Virginia, from 2010 until 2013.
Passionate about human resources, Ms. Hamn enjoys helping others find the perfect position that best suits their talents. What she finds most appealing about her field, however, is the ever-changing environment. As she continually progresses in Talent Acquisition, Ms. Hamn aims to garner an executive leadership position where she can showcase her expertise.

Prior to embarking upon her professional journey, Ms. Hamn completed several internships for the Department of Human Resources with the Bureau of Land Management while still in high school. Highly qualified in her area of expertise, Ms. Hamn has earned certifications as a Certified Diversity and Inclusion Recruiter, Internet Recruiter and Professional Recruiter through the Alliance of Information and Referral Systems and certification in Human Resources Management through George Mason University. To remain aware of developments affecting her field, Ms. Hamn is a member of the Society for Human Resource Management.

Ms. Hamn notes that much of her success is because of her team and her department. Coining her employees as the “Dream Team,” Ms. Hamn feels blessed to have such an evolving staff whom she both trained and mentored during their careers.
