ALEXANDRIA, VA – Oct. 16, 2015 – DCS is passionate about giving back to our nation’s service members–those who have fought to protect the freedom of this great country. Often times many of these inspiring individuals come home with wounds that can and can’t be seen–like a missing limb, combat stress, and/or depression. Because they have risked everything for us, DCS is committed to raising awareness and funds for these wounded service members and their caregivers.
In conjunction with the Army’s “10 Miler Run/Walk/Swim” event held last weekend in Washington DC, DCS hosted a fund-raising event benefiting the Wounded Warrior Project (WWP) organization whose mission is to honor and empower Wounded Warriors. DCS exceed their goal raising $3,350 through donations made by employees, their family members and friends.
The funds raised will help support the WWP and its 20 holistic programs offered to wounded service members and their caregivers completely free of charge.
DCS offers advanced technology and management solutions to Government agencies in the national security sector. The transformative ideas and entrepreneurial spirit that characterize our 1,000 plus employee-owners allow DCS to ensure the success of each client’s mission and actively contribute to the well-being of the Nation.
