Electronic Warfare
DCS is a leading provider of electronic warfare capability to the Army, Navy, and Air Force. Our electronic warfare expertise includes electronic attack, electronic protection programs, and capabilities. We support work ground vehicle survivability upgrades F-35 electronic warfare systems and sensors, inventory aircraft mission data, and more.
DCS provides evaluation, analysis, and assessment for the Army including testing Counter Remote Improvised Explosive Device Warfare (CREW), IED jammer, and electro-optical systems; and Armored Brigade Combat Team and Heavy Brigade Combat Team platform vehicles for vulnerabilities and limitations. We also support the Air Force with lab and field testing of Hardware-in-the-Loop systems labs used to verify and validate mission data prior to fielding, high fidelity threat replicators required to stress electronic warfare system sensors, and foreign material exploitation and electronic counter measures optimization. We operate and update anechoic chambers to generate representative signal environments for electronic warfare, and are active participants in various electronic warfare exercises and serve as subject matter experts providing feedback and analysis to aircrews on their performance using electronic warfare systems.
For the Air Force, DCS offers systems engineering subject matter experts in intelligence sources to include the Electronic Warfare Integrated Reprogramming Database (EWIRDB), Next Generation EWIRDB System, and Combined Emitter Database. We conduct highly detailed analysis of threat emitters, program threat emitter simulations, and create threat emitter libraries for use in mission data and fully integrated testing. In support of the Benefield Anechoic Chamber, we provide systems engineering support to developmental programs whose goal is to provide realistic EW environments for test aircraft. For the Navy, we provide aircraft modifications and instrumentation systems design, development, installation, maintenance; program management and training services for the F/A-18A-F, EA-18G (Navy’s newest EW aircraft), F-35B/C, AV-8B, H-1, and Unmanned Air System (UAS) IPTs.
