DCS Corporation’s Director of Talent Acquisition, Carrie Hamn, has been selected again as a winner of the 2022 OnCon Icon Award in the Top 50 Talent Acquisition Professional category. An awards ceremony was held virtually July 12, 2022.
The OnCon Icon Awards recognize the top talent acquisition professionals and talent acquisition vendors worldwide. Voters selected talent acquisition leaders they felt demonstrated a balance of success and positive impact on their organization, made strong contributions to the talent acquisition community through thought leadership, have been innovative, and who have exhibited great leadership.

Throughout her tenure with DCS, Carrie has consistently promoted innovative Talent Acquisition initiatives. Carrie has built a strong talent acquisition team capable of meeting the needs of a growth oriented business. She has adopted cutting edge recruiting tools and technology leveraging the use of social media as well as candidate sourcing techniques using Artificial Intelligence (AI). DCS hires future employee-owners with highly technical and complex skill sets. She has contributed to successfully implementing a new Applicant Tracking System that has increased visibility of requisition status and candidates. She designed a DCS internal careers site to improve the user experience for current employee job applicants and facilitate movement across corporate organizations. Additionally, Carrie redesigned and implemented the external careers website resulting in enhanced employer branding and improved functionality including accessibility and accommodation of individuals with disabilities as well as outreach to military veterans.
